Which random picker should I use?
Use the wheel of names when the moment should be seen by everyone, the number generator for raffles with numbered tickets, the team generator to split a group, the pairs draw for doubles, the giveaway picker for comments on a post and the Secret Santa generator for a gift exchange. For a quick yes or no, flip a coin.
How can I prove a draw was fair?
Post the seed and the time that come with the result. Anyone who types the same list and the same seed gets the same result, and a second draw would show a different seed and a later time.
Are the names I type sent anywhere?
No. The draws run in your browser and nothing you type goes to VISU. Only a share link you choose to create carries the list, inside the part of the link after the #.
Can I use these tools for an official raffle or a promotion?
They are made for games, classrooms, parties and informal giveaways. A promotion with prizes may have legal rules in your country: write your rules first (there is a giveaway rules template) and check what applies to you.
Do they work on a phone and on a projector?
