How do I create a WhatsApp link?
Use your number in international format, digits only: country code, area code and number, without +, spaces or a leading 0. The link is https://wa.me/ followed by that number. This tool builds it and encodes the message for you.
Can the link include a ready message?
Yes. The text appears typed in the chat box when the chat opens, and the person still decides whether to send it. Spaces, accents, line breaks and emoji are encoded so the message arrives exactly as written.
Does the other person need to save my number?
No. A wa.me link opens a chat with your number without saving it as a contact. They do need WhatsApp installed or WhatsApp Web open.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. wa.me links work for WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business numbers.
Does the link or QR code expire?
No. It works while the number is on WhatsApp. If you change numbers, the link and any printed static QR stop working. A dynamic VISU QR lets you update the destination without reprinting.
