How to use it

  1. Pick the metric or the task: a tagged link, a link preview, or a calculator for cost, return, conversion or retention.
  2. Type your own campaign numbers. Every calculator shows the formula it uses.
  3. Copy the result or the link and take it to your report, your ad manager or your client.

Examples

  • Planning a campaign budget

Start from the CPM or CPC you expect, check the CTR and conversion rate you need, then see the ROAS the budget has to reach.

  • Before sharing a link

Add UTM tags with the UTM builder and check the title and image with the link preview checker.

Questions

Which marketing calculator do I need?

CPM for the cost of reach, CPC and CTR for clicks, CPA and conversion rate for results, ROAS for the return on ad spend, CLV, retention and loyalty for the value of a customer over time. The advertising calculator puts the main ones together.

Do the calculators use benchmark numbers?

No. They use the numbers you type. Averages change by country, network and industry, so each tool works from your own data and shows the formula.

Is my campaign data uploaded?

No. The calculators and the UTM builder run in your browser. Only the link preview checker fetches the public page you ask it to check.

What is a UTM tag?

A short label added to a link (source, medium, campaign) so your analytics tool can tell which campaign brought each visit.

Can I use these numbers in a client report?

Yes. The results are yours to copy. Write down where each input came from, so the report can be checked later.
