This is a free invoice template. Where the law asks for a tax invoice with set details or an official e-invoicing system (a VAT invoice, for example), check that yours meets those rules: this tool does not know them.

Type the name and the rate you charge, for example "Sales tax" and 8. A negative rate, like -10, is subtracted as a withholding. This tool knows no tax rule: you decide what applies.
A Pix code works only for amounts in Brazilian reais (BRL). The code carries the total and the invoice number, and the payer checks your name in their bank app before paying.

A printed code cannot be edited. A dynamic VISU QR points to a short VISU link, you choose where it goes and VISU shows how many times it was scanned. Create it, then paste the short link (visu.to/q/...) as the payment link above.

How to use it
- Check the invoice number and the issue date, and pick the payment terms: the due date is worked out for you.
- Fill in your name and details, then the client you are billing. Only your name and one item are needed.
- Add the items: description, quantity, unit price and, if you want, a discount in percent. Type your tax lines if you charge any.
- Write how to pay, choose a payment QR code (a payment link, or Pix for invoices in reais) and add your logo.
- Click "Print or save as PDF", choose "Save as PDF" in the print window and send the file. The WhatsApp button sends a short summary with the amount due.

Questions
Is an invoice made here valid?
It is a commercial document with everything a client needs to pay you: who bills, who pays, what, how much and by when. Some countries ask for a tax invoice with set details, a registration number or an official e-invoicing system. This tool does not know those rules, so check what applies to you before you rely on it for tax.
How is the due date worked out?
From the issue date and the payment terms you pick: due on receipt is the same day, Net 15 is fifteen days later, Net 30 thirty days, and so on. "Pick a date" lets you set any date from the issue date on.
How does the payment QR code work?
Choose "Payment link" and paste your checkout, payment page or card link: the client scans it from the paper or the PDF. For invoices in Brazilian reais you can choose Pix instead: the code carries the total and the invoice number, ready for the bank app.
What is a proforma invoice?
A preliminary bill sent before the sale is final, so the client can approve the amount, arrange the payment or clear customs. It is not a request for payment. Only the title and the footer of the document change.
Are my clients, amounts or details stored anywhere?
Not by VISU: the invoice is made in your browser and nothing you type or upload is sent. If you tick "Remember my details", your own name, details, payment instructions and Pix key stay in this browser so the next invoice starts filled in. Untick it to erase them.
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Click "Print or save as PDF". In the print window choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") as the printer, keep the scale at 100% and the margins on "none". The text in the PDF stays selectable.
