A receipt made here is a plain proof of payment between two parties. It is not an invoice, has no tax value and does not replace one where the law asks for it.

A receipt can bring the next customer

  1. Ask for a review at the right moment

The moment someone pays is when they remember the service best. Put your Google review link in the QR code of the receipt: get the link with the free Google review QR tool, and keep your business page on VISU Local up to date.

Open the Google review QR tool
  2. One page with all your contacts

With VISU Link you get a page at visu.to/yourname with WhatsApp, services, prices and social profiles. A code on the receipt that opens it means the customer always knows how to find you again.

    See VISU Link
  3. Print once, change the destination later

A printed code cannot be edited. A dynamic VISU QR points to a short VISU link, you choose where it goes and VISU shows how many times it was scanned. Create it, then paste the short link (visu.to/q/...) in the QR field above.

Type a link for the QR code first.

How to use it

  1. Type the amount and choose the currency. The amount in words appears right away: check it.
  2. Fill in who paid and what the payment was for. Add the payment method if you want it on paper.
  3. Type your name as the one who received, the place and the date. Add an ID line, your logo and a QR link if you like.
  4. Print at 100% scale, cut along the dashed line, sign both copies and hand one to who paid.

Examples

  • Rent paid in cash

A landlord gives the tenant a receipt for the month, with the amount in words, the address in the description and both copies signed.

  • Deposit for a job

A freelancer confirms the first half of a project, mentions the quote number and adds a QR code to the portfolio.

  • Private sale

Two people close the sale of a used bike: who paid, how much, what for, place, date and signature on one sheet.

Questions

Is a receipt made here an invoice or a tax document?

No. It is a plain proof that one party paid another. It is not an invoice, has no tax value and does not replace one where the law asks for it. If you sell goods or services as a business, check which document your country requires.

How is the amount written in words?

From the number you type, in the language of this page: "one thousand two hundred thirty-four dollars and fifty-six cents". Cents are always included when they are not zero. The words are there so the amount cannot be changed by adding a digit, so read them before you sign.

Can I make a receipt that looks like the one from a store or a brand?

No. There is one neutral layout with your own name and logo. This tool has no store templates and is not meant to imitate another company's receipt: presenting a made-up store receipt as real is fraud.

Why two copies per page?

One stays with who paid and one with who received. Both carry the same number, amount and date, with a small label saying whose copy it is. You can also print a single receipt.

Which currencies and number formats work?

US dollar, euro, pound, Brazilian real and Mexican, Colombian, Argentine and Chilean pesos, plus the Peruvian sol. Type the amount the way your region writes it, 1,250.50 or 1.250,50: the page follows the currency you choose and tells you when a number cannot be read.

Are the names and amounts stored anywhere?

No. The receipt is made in your browser and nothing you type or upload is sent to VISU. Nothing is saved either, so keep your signed copy and note the last number you used.
