How to use it
- Choose Quote or Estimate, check the number and the date, and say for how many days the price holds.
- Fill in your name and details, then the client. Only your name and one item are needed.
- Add the items: description, quantity, unit price and, if you want, a discount in percent. The totals update as you type.
- Type your tax lines if you charge any, your payment terms and notes, and add your logo and a link for the QR code.
- Click "Print or save as PDF", choose "Save as PDF" in the print window, and send the file. The WhatsApp button sends a short summary with the total.

Is a quote made here an invoice?
No. It is a plain commercial document that tells a client what you offer and for how much. It is not an invoice, has no tax value and does not replace one where the law asks for it. When the job is accepted and paid, issue the invoice your country requires with the proper system.
What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?
A quote is usually a fixed price for a defined job, valid until a date. An estimate is your best calculation and may change as the work becomes clear. Pick the word that matches what you are promising: only the title of the document changes.
How do I add VAT, sales tax or a withholding?
Type the name of the tax and its rate in percent. Each line is calculated on the subtotal after discounts. A negative rate is subtracted, which is how a withholding is shown. The tool does not know the tax rules of any country, so the names and rates are always yours.
How do I save the quote as a PDF?
Click "Print or save as PDF". In the print window, choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") as the printer, keep the scale at 100% and the margins on "none". The text in the PDF stays selectable.
Are my clients, prices or logo stored anywhere?
No. The quote is made in your browser and nothing you type or upload is sent to VISU. That also means nothing is saved for later: keep the PDF, and note the last number you used.
What is the QR code on the quote for?
It takes the client from the document to a page you choose: your portfolio, your VISU Link page or your reviews. It is an ordinary static code. If you want to change where it goes later, use a dynamic VISU QR: its destination can be edited and VISU counts the scans.
How many items fit and what happens with a long quote?
Up to 60 lines. Long descriptions wrap inside their column, and when the list does not fit on a page it continues on the next one with the table header repeated and the page number in the footer.
