Paste a Place ID or review link to see your QR code.

This QR code is static: the review link is written into it. If Google changes your place ID, you reprint it.

Google prohibits offering rewards in exchange for reviews. Ask every customer the same way, and never offer a discount, gift or prize for a review.

Keep the printed code if the link changes

A dynamic VISU QR points to a short visu.to link. If your review link changes, you edit the destination in your account and the printed code keeps working. VISU shows how many times it was scanned.

Guide: how to ask customers for Google reviews

How to use it

  1. Paste your Place ID, or the review link from your Google Business Profile ("Ask for reviews").
  2. Check the business and the link, then open it on your phone to confirm the review screen appears.
  3. Download the QR code: PNG for screens and quick prints, SVG for a print shop.
  4. Put it where customers finish: counter, table, receipt, bag or follow-up message.
  5. If the link may change later, make it a dynamic VISU QR before you print.

Examples

  • Coffee shop counter

A small sign by the register, "Enjoyed your visit? Tell us on Google", with the QR code under it.

  • Restaurant tables

A table tent with the review QR next to the menu, so guests can write while they wait for the bill.

  • Salon or clinic

A card handed over with the receipt, or the same link in the follow-up message.

  • Receipts and packaging

Print the SVG on receipts, bags or boxes. Test the printed size with two different phones.

Questions

What is a Google review QR code?

A QR code that opens the "write a review" screen for your business on Google. Customers scan it, pick the stars and write, without searching for you first.

Where do I find my Place ID?

Use Google's Place ID Finder: search your business on the map and copy the ID (it usually starts with ChIJ). Or skip the ID and copy the review link from your Google Business Profile with "Ask for reviews".

Static or dynamic: which one should I print?

A static code holds the review link itself: free forever, but if Google changes your place ID, you reprint. A dynamic VISU QR holds a short visu.to link: you change the destination in your account and the printed code keeps working. It needs a free VISU account and counts toward your plan's dynamic QR limit.

Does this tool check that the link works?

If you pick your business from the search, we confirm with Google that the ID exists. If you paste an ID or link, we only check its format. Nobody can confirm from outside that Google accepts reviews for a place, so open the link on your phone before printing.

Can I offer a discount or gift for reviews?

No. Google prohibits offering rewards in exchange for reviews, and reviews collected that way can be removed. Ask every customer the same way, whether you expect a good or a bad review.

Do customers need a Google account?

Yes, to post a review. Customers who are signed out see the Google sign-in first and then the review screen.

Is my data sent anywhere?

Pasted IDs and links stay in your browser, where the QR code is made. The business search, when available, sends what you type to VISU, which looks it up on Google.
