Google Review Response Generator

Choose the star rating, tick what the review mentions and say whether the problem is already solved. You get three replies built from the same parts a careful owner would write: thanks, a specific acknowledgement, what was done, and an invitation back or a way to talk in private. No AI: the sentences were written by people.

The reply then uses no name, speaks in general terms and takes the case offline.

No AI here. The replies are put together in your browser from sentences written by people. Same choices, same three replies.

What not to do in a reply

  1. Do not argue

Google asks for professional and polite replies and says never to engage in personal attacks. If you disagree, state your side calmly in a sentence and offer to talk. The reply is read by every future customer, not only by the reviewer.

  2. Do not share customer data

Never share a reviewer's private information: no order details, appointment dates, health information, phone numbers or what they paid. If the case is complex, ask them to continue by phone or email.

  3. Do not offer compensation in public for a changed review

Offering payment, discounts or free goods or services in exchange for revising or removing a negative review is prohibited by Google. If something is owed to the customer, settle it in private and without conditions.

  4. Do not paste the same thank-you everywhere

Google suggests focusing on reviews where you can share a helpful update or answer a question instead of sending the same "thank you" to everyone. That is why each choice here gives three different replies.

  5. Do not use the reply to sell

Google says replies should be conversational, not promotional: the reviewer is already a customer, so avoid using the reply to offer deals or promotions.

  6. Do not report a review just because you dislike it

Google removes only reviews that violate its policies and says it does not get involved in disputes between businesses and customers. A fair negative review deserves a reply, not a report.

More reviews to reply to, the right way

Ask every customer the same way, with no reward attached. The review request templates on this site write the message, the Google review QR generator makes the link and the QR code, and a VISU Local page puts your business in a local directory with that review QR.

How to use it

  1. Pick the number of stars and tick what the review praises and what it complains about. The tool reads that as a positive, mixed or negative review.
  2. For a complaint, say whether it is fixed, in progress or not yet, and add one line about what you actually did if you want it in the reply.
  3. Type your business name. The reviewer's first name, who signs and a phone or email for a private talk are optional.
  4. Read the three options, copy the closest one and adjust it to what really happened before you post it on your Business Profile.

Examples

  • Three stars: good bread, long queue

Star Bakery, review by Daniel, praise for quality, complaint about the wait, already fixed with one more person at the counter. The reply thanks Daniel, is glad about the quality, apologises for the wait, says what changed and gives a contact.

  • Five stars for the team

Tick "Staff" under praise and leave the complaints empty. You get three short thank-you replies that pass the words on to the team and invite the customer back, with no offer attached.

  • One star at a clinic

Turn on the confidential service option. The reply confirms nothing about the person: it thanks them for writing, states how the clinic treats waiting times in general, says cases are not discussed in public and gives a contact.

Questions

Is this an AI review response generator?

No. There is no AI and nothing is sent to a server. People wrote the sentences in each language, and the page joins them according to the stars, the topics and the status you pick. The same choices always give the same three replies, which you then adjust.

Should I reply to every review?

Replying shows customers that their feedback matters, and Google recommends it. Google also suggests not sending the same "thank you" to everyone: put the effort where you can share a useful update or answer a question. Reply soon, since Google lists a timely response among its tips.

How do I respond to a negative review?

Google's tips: stay polite, apologise when it is appropriate, be honest about what went wrong without taking the blame for what you do not control, address the reviewer by name, sign with yours, and ask to continue by phone or email if it is complex. The negative replies here follow that order.

Can I offer a refund or a discount in the reply?

Not as a trade. Google prohibits incentives in exchange for revising or removing a negative review, and says replies should not be used to offer deals or promotions. If you owe the customer something, sort it out in private, with no condition about the review.

Can I have a bad review removed?

Only when it violates Google's policies, for example spam or profanity. You can report it from your Business Profile. Google says not to report a review just because you disagree with it, and that it does not get involved in disputes between businesses and customers.

What happens after I post the reply?

Google checks the reply against its content policies, usually within about 10 minutes and sometimes up to 30 days. Once approved it is public under the review, shown as the business and not with your personal name. The reviewer is notified and can still edit the review. Your business must be verified before you can reply.

I run a clinic. What should I leave out?

Anything that confirms the person was a patient or says what happened to them. Google's own rule is never to share a reviewer's private information. The confidential service option writes the reply in general terms, uses no name and moves the conversation offline. Check your own professional and legal duties: this tool is not legal advice.

Is this an official Google tool?

No. VISU is not affiliated with Google. The tool writes text; you post it yourself on your Business Profile.
