The court is paid. What about the best point of the night?

VISU Replay puts cameras on the court: the match is recorded on its own and the players get short clips of their plays in the VISU app, ready to send to the group. If your court does not have it yet, send the Replay page to the owner.

How to use it

  1. Type the total cost of the court for that game.
  2. Paste the list of regulars and, if there are any, the guests. Mark who already paid with a tick or (paid).
  3. Choose what guests pay: the same as everyone, a fixed fee or a multiple of the regular share.
  4. Copy the message for WhatsApp: it lists each person, the amount, who paid and your payment details.

Examples

  • Weekly five-a-side with two guests

The court costs 180, eight regulars and two guests who pay 25 each: the guests cover 50 and each regular pays 16.25.

  • Padel court split four ways

Four players, 60 for 90 minutes, everyone the same: 15 each, and the message shows who has already paid.

  • Rounding for the kitty

Round each share up to a whole unit and the few cents left over are shown as the kitty, to go towards balls or the next booking.

Questions

How is the split calculated?

With the same share for everyone, the total is divided by the number of people. With a fixed guest fee, the guests pay that fee and the regulars share what is left. With a multiple, a guest counts as that many regulars. Every share is rounded up, never down, so the group does not come up short.

What happens to the cents left over?

Rounding up can collect a little more than the court costs. The page shows that amount as left over, so the group can decide what to do with it, usually a kitty for balls or the next game.

How do I mark who already paid?

Put a tick emoji or "(paid)" after the name in the list, or tap the button next to each person in the result. The message and the total still to collect update at once.

Does it create a Pix code or a payment link?

No. It never generates payment codes. You paste your own key, account or note as plain text and it goes at the end of the message, exactly as you typed it.

Does it work for other shared costs?

Yes. Anything a group splits works the same way: a barbecue, a birthday gift, a rented van. "Regulars" and "guests" are just two groups that can pay different shares.

What does the link contain?

The names, the amounts and who paid, written into the link itself (the part after #). Your payment details are left out on purpose. Nothing is stored on a server.
