How each sport is scored on this scoreboard
Each preset starts with the rules of the sport's own rulebook. Every one of them can be changed under "Rules of this match", because weekend matches rarely follow the book to the letter.
Padel and tennis
Points go 15, 30, 40 and game. At 40-40 it is deuce: a side needs the advantage and then the game, or, with the golden point switched on, the next point decides. A set goes to 6 games with a two-game lead; at 6-6 a tie-break to 7, also by two, settles it. Matches are best of 3 sets, and the serve changes every game.
Beach tennis
Same points and games as tennis, with no advantage: at 40-40 one deciding point is played. Sets go to 6 with a tie-break at 6-6, and at one set all a match tie-break to 10, by two, is played instead of a third set. Playing a single set? Choose 1 set under match length.
Pickleball
Games go to 11 and are won by two. With side-out scoring only the serving side scores: lose the rally and the serve passes on. In doubles each side has two servers, except the side that serves first in a game, which has one. That is why a game starts at 0-0-2. Rally scoring and games to 15 or 21 are one tap away.
Volleyball
Rally scoring: every rally is a point. Sets go to 25 with a two-point lead and no cap, the match is best of 5 and the fifth set goes to 15.
Beach volleyball
Sets go to 21 with a two-point lead, the match is best of 3 and the third set goes to 15.
Futsal and the simple counter
Goals for each side and a clock per period: two periods of 20 minutes by default, or any length you type. The clock counts down and stops at zero. The simple counter is the same without a time limit, for any game that only needs a score.
This match, on video
On courts with VISU Replay a camera records the game. After the last point you watch it again and share the clip with your group, with the court's banner on it. Ask at your club, or see how it works.

- Pick the sport. The rules of that sport are loaded: change match length, golden point, tie-break or points per set if your match is played differently.
- Type the names if you want them on the board and on the result card, and pick a color for each side.
- Tap Full screen and leave the phone where both sides can see it, upright or on its side.
- After each point, tap the side that won it. A wrong tap is fixed with Undo, even across a game or a set.
- When the match ends, download the result card or share it with your group.
Examples
Padel with golden point
At 40-40 with the golden point on, the board shows "Golden point" and the next tap wins the game. With it off, the same tap gives the advantage and one more wins the game. At 6-6 the board switches to a tie-break and counts 1, 2, 3 up to 7 with a two-point lead.
Pickleball doubles, side-out scoring
The game starts at 0-0-2. Team A serves and wins two rallies: 2-0-2. It loses the next one: side out, Team B serves at 0-2-1. Team B loses a rally: second server, 0-2-2. It loses again: side out, back to Team A at 2-0-1.
Volleyball at 24-24
A set is not over at 25: the board keeps going until one side leads by two, so 24-24 can end 26-24 or 31-29. In the fifth set the same happens around 15.
Questions
Is the online scoreboard free? Do I need to install an app?
It is free and runs in the browser of your phone, tablet or laptop. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Open the page, pick the sport and start tapping.
How do I keep score in padel or tennis with it?
Tap the side that won each point. The board turns points into 15, 30, 40, handles deuce and advantage (or the golden point), adds the game, changes the server, and starts the tie-break on its own at 6-6. You never have to work out what comes next.
Does it work for beach tennis?
Yes. The beach tennis preset plays without advantage, with a tie-break at 6-6 and a match tie-break to 10 at one set all. If your group plays one set only, choose 1 set under match length.
How does pickleball side-out scoring work on the board?
Tap the side that won the rally. If it was the serving side, it gets the point. If not, the serve moves to the second server or to the other side, and the board says which. The three-number call, such as 4-2-1, is shown all the time. Prefer rally scoring? Untick side-out scoring.
I tapped the wrong side. Can I fix it?
Yes. Undo takes back the last tap, as many times as you need, and it works across a game, a set and even the last point of the match.
Will the screen turn off in the middle of the match?
On browsers that support it, the page asks the phone to keep the screen on while it is open. Where that is not available, the page tells you, and raising the auto-lock time in the phone settings does the job.
What happens if I close the page or the phone restarts?
The score is saved on your device, so reopening the page brings the match back where it stopped, including the clock. Names are not saved: type them again if you want them on the card.
Can I use it on a tablet or a TV at the club?
Yes. In full screen the two halves fill the display in portrait or landscape. On a laptop connected to a TV you can score with the arrow keys.
What is on the result card?
The names, the score of each set with the tie-break, the sport and the date, on an image sized for a feed post. From the final screen you can also open the card editor to add a photo, the name of the court or a 9:16 version for stories.
