Content Calendar Generator

Type your content pillars and how much of each you want, choose the weeks, the rhythm and the networks, and get a balanced calendar with real dates. Change any slot by hand, then take it to a spreadsheet, to your calendar app or to paper. There is no AI and no ready-made ideas here: it organises what is already yours.

Period and rhythm

How often you post

Content pillars

A share is a weight: 40, 30, 20, 10 or any numbers you like. One pillar is enough to start.

Networks and formats

Tick where you post, then the formats you really make there. The calendar rotates through them. Leave it empty to plan pillars only.

Your calendar

Your calendar shows up here: one row per week, one card per post. Type your pillars and press "Generate calendar", or fill in an example to see how it looks.

Powered by VISU

Every post ends in "link in bio". Where does yours go?

A calendar brings people to your profile; the link in the bio decides what they do next. VISU Link is one page for your menu, booking, WhatsApp and address, so every post of this calendar sends people to the same place.

See VISU Link

For the counter and the shop window, a dynamic VISU QR code points to that same page: you can change the destination later without reprinting, and you see how many scans it got. Make a QR code

How to use it

  1. Choose the start date, how many weeks you want to plan and how often you post: a number of posts per week, or the exact weekdays.
  2. Type your content pillars and a share for each one, for example Behind the scenes 40, Product 30, Customers 20, Offers 10. Shares that do not add up to 100 are scaled.
  3. Tick the networks you use and the formats you really make on each one. Press "Generate calendar".
  4. Click any post to change its pillar, network, format or day, or to write a note. The table under the grid shows how many posts each pillar got.
  5. Download the CSV for a spreadsheet, the .ics for your calendar app, or print the grid.

Examples

  • Neighbourhood bakery, 4 posts a week

Pillars: Behind the scenes 40, Product of the week 30, Customers 20, Offers 10. In 4 weeks that is 16 posts: 6, 5, 3 and 2, rotating between Reel, Carousel and Story on Instagram, Facebook and the Google profile.

  • Salon closed on Mondays

Pick Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday as weekdays. The calendar only uses those days, and each pillar is spread over the month instead of piling up in one week.

  • One person, one network, two posts a week

Two pillars at 50 each, Instagram with Reel and Photo, 8 weeks: 16 posts that alternate pillar and format. Write the idea of each post in the note and print the grid for the wall.

Questions

Does this tool write my posts or suggest ideas?

No. There is no AI here and no list of ready-made ideas. You type your own content pillars and the tool spreads them over the dates, the networks and the formats you chose. What each post says is yours: the note field of every slot is there for that.

How are the posts divided between the pillars?

By the shares you typed. Each pillar gets its share of the total number of posts, rounded down, and the posts left over go to the pillars that lost the largest fraction in the rounding. Example with 12 posts and shares 40, 30, 20, 10: the exact numbers are 4.8, 3.6, 2.4 and 1.2, so the pillars get 5, 4, 2 and 1. The total always matches.

What if a pillar has a tiny share, or I have more pillars than posts?

A pillar with a share above zero always gets at least one post when there are enough posts for every pillar: the pillar that is most above its share gives one up. If there are fewer posts than pillars, the smallest shares stay without a post and the tool tells you. A pillar with no share typed gets nothing while the others have one.

How does it decide the order?

Each pillar is spread evenly from the first week to the last, and the same pillar never comes twice in a row while another one still has posts left. Nothing is random: the same form always gives the same calendar. With equal shares and a fixed rhythm a pillar can land on the same weekday every week. If you do not want that, move a post or two.

Which days does "3 posts per week" use? Is that the best time to post?

It is only a layout. A number of posts per week is spread evenly over the week (3 becomes Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The tool has no data about your audience and does not claim any best day or time. If your week is different, use "Pick the weekdays".

What happens to my changes when I regenerate?

Regenerating builds a new grid from the form and replaces the one on screen. Your hand changes are lost unless you tick "Keep the slots I changed by hand" first. Kept changes go back to the same dates. A change that no longer fits (a date outside the new period, a pillar you removed) is dropped.

How do the CSV and the .ics files work?

The CSV has one row per post (date, weekday, pillar, network, format, note), separated by commas and saved as UTF-8, so Excel and Google Sheets open the accents correctly. A cell that starts with =, +, - or @ gets an apostrophe in front, so the spreadsheet shows it as text. The .ics has one all-day event per post for Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. Importing the same calendar again updates the events instead of duplicating them.

Is my calendar saved somewhere? Is this an official tool of any network?

It is not saved: everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent to VISU, so download the CSV or the .ics before closing the tab. And no, VISU is not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp or Google. The tool does not connect to your accounts and does not publish anything.
