Gantt Chart Maker

Write one task per line with its start and its end or duration, and the chart draws itself: bars by day or by week, a colour per owner, milestones as stars. Chain tasks with "after", then print it, save a PDF or copy a link to share the plan.

One task per line: name | start | end or duration | owner. Dates as 2027-03-01 or 03/01/2027. Duration in days (5d) or weeks (2w); 0d is a milestone. "after" starts the day after the task above ends. Up to 40 tasks.

A small line at the foot of the printout. Untick to remove it: free, no account.

To get a PDF, press Print and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. In the print window choose scale 100% (not "fit to page") and margins "none", so every size comes out exact.

The link carries the tasks, dates and owners. Never the logo.

      How to use it

      1. Type one task per line: name, start date, end date or duration, and an owner if you want a colour per person.
      2. Use 0d for a milestone and "after" to start a task the day after the one above ends.
      3. Leave the columns on Automatic (days for short plans, weeks for long ones) or pick one, and add a title and your logo.
      4. Print or save a PDF (long plans split across pages), download a PNG or the CSV, or copy the link.

      Examples

      • Website relaunch

Eight tasks over two months, three owners in three colours, kick-off and launch as milestones.

      • Event in four weeks

Venue, invitations, catering and rehearsal by day, printed for the team wall.

      • School project

Research, draft, review and presentation chained with "after", so moving one date moves the rest.

      Questions

How do I make a Gantt chart?

List the tasks with a start and an end or a duration. Each task becomes a bar across the days or weeks it covers, and milestones become stars.

Is this Gantt chart maker free?

Yes, with no account. Print, PDF, PNG and CSV are free; "Made with VISU" at the foot can be unticked.

Can tasks depend on each other?

Write "after" as the start and the task begins the day after the task above it ends. Change the first date and the chain follows.

How long can the project be?

Up to 40 tasks. Long plans are drawn in weeks and split across pages of 26 weeks; short ones in days, 31 per page.

Can I open it in Excel?

Yes. Download the CSV and open it in Excel or Google Sheets, or copy the link to reopen the chart here.
