Lesson Plan Template

Type the lesson as you would on paper: objective, standards, materials, opening, instruction, practice, assessment and homework, with the minutes of each part and the total worked out. Or switch to the weekly planner: Monday to Friday by period, blank boxes to fill by hand. Print it or save a PDF.

A small line at the foot of the printout. Untick to remove it: free, no account.

To get a PDF, press Print and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. In the print window choose scale 100% (not "fit to page") and margins "none", so every size comes out exact.

The link carries what you typed in the form and the title. Never the logo.

    Questions

What goes in a lesson plan?

Usually the objective, the standards it covers, the materials, how the lesson opens, the instruction, the practice, how you check learning and any homework. Untick what your school does not ask for.

Is the lesson plan template free?

Yes, with no account. Print it or save a PDF as often as you like. "Made with VISU" at the foot can be unticked.

Can I make a weekly lesson plan?

Yes. Choose A week of lessons: Monday to Friday in columns, your periods or subjects in rows, and a materials checklist.

    Why are the notes short?

Each box holds up to 80 characters so the page stays readable when printed. Leave a box empty to write by hand.

    Are my plans saved?

Nothing is saved on VISU. Copy the link to reopen the same plan later; it carries the text you typed, never the logo.
