Certificate Generator

Write the certificate once and paste the names. Every person gets their own page in a single print job, or a PNG inside a ZIP, with your logo, signatures and a verification line of your own.

This tool designs a certificate of participation. It checks nothing and issues no credential: what the certificate states, and how anyone can confirm it, is up to you.

One name makes one certificate. Paste a list or the cells of a spreadsheet for one page per name, up to 200. A second column can hold a code for the verification line.

Template

Write {name} where the name goes: it is set large, between what comes before and after.

A photo or scan on a white background. It stays in your browser.
Paper

Everything is made in this browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to VISU.

Preview

Type a name, or fill the form with the example, to see the certificate.

In the print window choose landscape, scale 100% and margins "none". "Save as PDF" gives one file with every certificate.

More for your event

  1. Enterprise QR for events

For a congress, a trade show or a course with many classes, VISU sets up dynamic QR codes per attendee badge, booth or session: you change where each code goes during the event and see how many times each one was scanned.

Talk to us about your event
  2. Before the certificate: the invitation and the badge

The event QR tool saves the date to the phone calendar in one scan, and the name badge maker prints a badge per person from the same list you pasted here.

  3. A verification link you can change later

A printed code cannot be edited. A dynamic VISU QR points to a short VISU link, you choose where it goes and VISU shows how many times it was scanned. Create it, then use the short link (visu.to/q/...) as the verification line.

Type a web address without {code} as the verification line first.

How to use it

  1. Type one name, or paste the whole list, one person per line.
  2. Pick a template and write the title and the text, with {name} where the name goes.
  3. Fill in who issues it, the date, the hours and who signs. Add your logo and an image of the signature if you want.
  4. Add a verification line if you have a page or a code people can check, and look through the certificates with Previous and Next.
  5. Print everything at once or save one PDF, or download the ZIP with one PNG per person to send by email or WhatsApp.

Examples

  • Workshop with 25 people

One paste of the attendance list gives 25 landscape pages in one PDF, each with the name set large and two signatures.

  • Online course

A ZIP with one PNG per student, named with the student's place in the list and name, ready to attach to each email.

  • Volunteer day

A single certificate typed by hand, with the organisation's logo, the hours served and a verification code.

Questions

Does this tool issue or validate certificates?

No. It designs the page. It does not check who attended, does not keep a record and issues no credential, diploma or accredited title. A certificate of participation is a statement by whoever signs it, so its value comes from the issuer.

How do I make one certificate per person from a list?

Paste the names, one per line, or the cells of a spreadsheet. Each name gets its own page with the same text. Print them all in one job, save one PDF with every page, or download a ZIP with one PNG per name. A batch goes up to 200 names.

What is the verification line?

A short line at the bottom with an address or a code that you type, so a third party knows where to confirm the certificate with you. Write {code} and put a code in the second column of the list to print a different one on each page. The tool does not verify anything: the page or the list behind that line is yours.

What happens with a very long name?

The name is set as large as it fits. A long name shrinks and may use two lines. It is never cut off.

Are the names, the logo or the signature stored?

No. Everything is drawn in your browser, including the ZIP. Nothing you type or upload is sent to VISU. Close the page and it is gone, so keep the PDF or the ZIP.

Which paper and which settings should I use?

Landscape A4 or Letter, 180 to 250 g/m² if you hand them out on paper. In the print window choose landscape, scale 100% and no margins. The PNGs in the ZIP are 150 DPI to stay light for email. The single PNG is 300 DPI.
