Instagram carousel and grid splitter
Turn one wide picture into carousel slides that line up when people swipe, or into a 3 column grid for your profile. The files come numbered in posting order inside a ZIP, and you can add a last slide with your own link and its QR code. Nothing is uploaded.

Your images stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the work happens in your browser.
The profile shows a cropped preview of each post, and that preview has changed shape over time. Look at your own profile: tall previews, choose 3:4. Square previews, choose 1:1.
The picture does not have the shape of the result, so part of it is left out. Move the slider to choose.
The slide carries only what you type here. No VISU logo is added.

Your carousel ends with a link. Make it one page that holds everything.
VISU Link is a free page at visu.to/yourname for your shop, booking, menu, contacts and social profiles. Put that address on the last slide and in your bio, and change what is behind it whenever you want.

How to use it
- Drop a wide picture, choose it from your device or paste it. Panoramas, banners and wide designs work best.
- Choose carousel slides or profile grid, then the shape of each piece. The number of slides or rows is suggested from the picture and you can change it.
- If part of the picture has to be left out, move the slider to choose which part stays. For a carousel, you can add a last slide with your link.
- Download the ZIP and post the files in number order.
Examples
Panorama as a swipe
A 5400 × 1350 px panorama becomes 5 slides of 1080 × 1350 px. Swiping moves across the photo with no jump between slides.
Launch banner on the profile grid
A square design with 1:1 tiles becomes 3 rows of 3. Post file 01 first (bottom right) and file 09 last (top left) to see the full picture on your profile.
Menu carousel that ends with the link
Split a wide menu design into 4 slides and add a last slide with visu.to/yourname and its QR code, so the next step is on the screen.
Questions
Is my picture uploaded?
No. The page loads once and then your browser does the cutting on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account and no watermark is added to the slides.
Why do the slides line up when swiping?
The picture is scaled once to the size of the whole strip and each slide is a window on that same picture, moved by exactly 1080 pixels. Neighbouring slides share their edge pixel for pixel, so nothing is repeated and nothing is missing.
Which shape should I choose?
4:5 and 3:4 take more of the screen in the feed, and 1:1 is the classic square. All three are 1080 px wide and inside the range of proportions that Instagram says it keeps without cropping (the source is in our image resizer).
In what order do I post a grid?
The newest post always goes to the top left of a profile. So you post from the end: file 01 is the bottom right tile and the last file is the top left one. The file names carry the row and the column.
How wide should my picture be?
For a sharp result, 1080 px for every slide: 5 slides need 5400 px. A grid needs 3240 px. Smaller pictures still work and you are told that they will be enlarged.
What is the last slide with my link?
An extra slide made in the page with the link or handle you type, an optional line of text and the QR code of the link. Someone seeing the post on a computer, a TV or a printed copy can scan it with a phone. It has no VISU logo.
Does it work for other networks?
The files are normal JPG or PNG images of 1080 px wide, so any network that accepts several images in one post can use them. The shapes follow what Instagram publishes.
