Fix the hours on the left to see your sign.

In the print window choose scale 100% (not "fit to page") and margins "none", so every size comes out exact.

Hours changed? Update the page, keep the sign

The printed table is right today. Holidays, summer hours and a new closing time are not on it. Point the code at a page you can edit and the sign on the door stays useful: with a dynamic VISU QR you change where the code goes without printing again, and VISU shows how many times it was scanned.

Paste the link for the code above first.

No page for your hours yet? A VISU Local page is your business page on VISU: hours, address, contact and reviews in one link.

How to use it

  1. Type your business name and set each day: open with its hours, closed or 24 hours. Add a break for a lunch closing.
  2. Choose the time format and whether days with the same hours share a line.
  3. Add your phone and, if you have one, the link to the page where your hours are kept up to date.
  4. Pick full or half sheet, your colour and logo, then print at 100% scale or download the PNG at 300 DPI.

Examples

  • Restaurant with a break

Tuesday to Sunday, 12 PM to 3 PM and 7 PM to 11 PM, Monday closed, with a code to the booking page.

  • Clinic

Monday to Friday 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 12 PM, phone number large at the bottom.

  • Bar open past midnight

Thursday to Saturday, 6 PM to 2 AM: a closing time earlier than the opening time is read as the next day.

Questions

What size should an opening hours sign be?

A full sheet (A4 or Letter) on the door is read comfortably by someone standing at the entrance. The half sheet suits a counter or a small window. For a sign read from across the street, send the PNG to a print shop and ask for a larger size.

How big does the QR code print, and from how far does it scan?

The line under the preview gives the printed width and the comfortable distance for your link. The rule behind it: the code should be about one tenth of the scanning distance wide and never under 2 cm. Through glass, avoid reflections: tape the sign flat against the inside of the window.

Which paper should I use?

Plain paper works behind glass. For a sign that is handled or sits on a counter, use card stock. Outdoors, laminate it or use a plastic sleeve, and keep it matte: glare can stop a camera from reading the code.

How do I show a lunch break or two shifts?

Use "Add a break" on that day and fill the second opening and closing time. The sign shows both periods, one under the other.

What if we close after midnight?

Type the real times, for example opens 18:00 and closes 02:00. A closing time earlier than the opening time is treated as the next day and printed as typed.

What should the QR code link to?

A page you can edit when hours change: your Google Business Profile, a page on your site, or your VISU Local page. If that link may change, print a dynamic VISU QR so the code on the door keeps working.

Is anything I type uploaded?

No. The sign is drawn in your browser. Your name, phone, hours and logo never leave this page.
