PocketMore is a UK-based research panel that recruits participants, Signa is a behavioral measurement app, and IBOPE is the Brazilian audience measurement company that runs Signa and pays its incentives. If you saw an invitation mentioning all three, PocketMore is the door, Signa is the app you install, and IBOPE Audiências Ltda. is the company responsible for the panel once you are inside.
PocketMore operates in several countries, but the Signa program described in this guide is a Brazilian one: it is run by a Brazilian company, validates participants with a CPF, and offers validated incentives in reais by Pix or an IBOPE-designated digital wallet. This article explains how the pieces fit together, what the app measures, what it pays according to its published terms, and what to check before you install anything.

PocketMore recruits people for research programs, and Signa is one of those programs in Brazil.
- PocketMore is a trading name of Walr Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, and it describes itself as a market research panel.
- The Signa App is a behavioral measurement panel operated by IBOPE Audiências Ltda., a company based in São Paulo, Brazil.
- In this flow, PocketMore's role is to recruit you, check your eligibility and give you a one-time passcode to activate the app.
- Once you activate Signa, IBOPE is responsible for the app, the data it collects, support and the Signa incentives, which may be paid in reais by Pix or an IBOPE-designated digital wallet after validation.
- No public source shows that PocketMore is owned by IBOPE. They are separate companies working as recruitment partner and panel operator.
What Is PocketMore?
PocketMore is a market research panel owned and operated by Walr Group Limited, a UK company, that connects people with research communities and apps run by its partners.
According to its terms (updated 10 September 2026), PocketMore is a trading name of Walr Group Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 12963180, with its registered office in London. Ways to take part include research communities, research apps and product tests at home.
Joining is free and limited to adults. As of September 2026, PocketMore's FAQ lists the UK, Ireland, the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Brazil as supported countries. So PocketMore is multi-country, but each opportunity has its own eligibility, and the Signa program is aimed at people in Brazil.
The key detail is how PocketMore defines its role. For programs involving an app or browser extension run by a client, its terms limit that role to recruiting you, verifying your eligibility, issuing a one-time passcode (OTP) and providing its own surveys. Before you decide, it tells you who operates the app and, in general terms, what it collects. Once you install the app, enter the passcode and consent inside it, the app operator becomes responsible for the app, support, rewards and the data it collects.
PocketMore also runs its own surveys, paid in Credits redeemable after a set threshold. Its terms state that these incentives are not wages.
What Is the Signa App?
Signa is a digital research and behavioral measurement panel run by IBOPE Audiências Ltda., which measures how participants use their devices in exchange for incentives.
The official documents call it the "Painel Signa", and the app is the Signa App. The operator is IBOPE Audiências Ltda., registered on Avenida Francisco Matarazzo in São Paulo.
According to its privacy notice, the panel aims to understand, in statistical terms, how people use mobile devices and move across apps, websites, social networks and online shops: how often, for how long, and in what sequence. Instead of answering questionnaires, participants install software that records these patterns.
Participation is voluntary and free. The terms state that IBOPE charges nothing, that joining creates no employment or service relationship, and that only adults with full legal capacity can join.
The terms also include a confidentiality clause: participants must not screenshot, record or publish program materials or study details. This guide uses the published documents and does not reproduce private program screens.
How PocketMore, Signa and IBOPE Are Connected
PocketMore, through Walr, acts as a recruitment partner that directs eligible people into the Signa panel, while IBOPE operates Signa and pays the Signa incentives.
Here is what the public documents actually establish:
- PocketMore recruits and activates. Its terms describe exactly this pattern for app-based programs: eligibility check, disclosure of the app operator, a download link and a one-time passcode.
- IBOPE operates the panel. The Signa terms and privacy notice name IBOPE Audiências Ltda. as the operator responsible for the app, the data and the incentives.
- The link is documented on the Signa side too. The Signa privacy notice names Walr as a partner, in the context of supporting billing processes.

What the documents do not show is any ownership relationship. No public source indicates that PocketMore belongs to IBOPE, or the other way round. Walr Group Limited is a UK company; IBOPE Audiências Ltda. is a Brazilian company. It is more accurate to think of them as a recruiter and a client than as one business with two names.
In practice: PocketMore account questions go to PocketMore; questions about the Signa app, its data or incentives go to IBOPE, through the channels listed in the Signa terms.
What Is IBOPE Today?
IBOPE is a Brazilian audience measurement brand founded in 1942 that, as of 2026, operates in Latin America as part of the global media measurement company Fifty5Blue.
For decades IBOPE was the name most Brazilians associated with TV ratings. The corporate history since then has several steps:
- 1942: IBOPE is founded in Brazil.
- 2014: WPP announces Kantar Media's agreement, subject to approvals, to acquire control of IBOPE's audience business; the Kantar IBOPE Media brand came later.
- 2025: WPP and Bain Capital sell Kantar Media to H.I.G. Capital, in a deal completed in August 2025.
- 2026: Kantar Media is renamed Fifty5Blue, formalised in February 2026. The company keeps established brands including Ibope, and in Latin America it continues to operate under the Ibope name.
The Brazilian Fifty5Blue site, which also hosts the Signa documents, displays "© 2026 IBOPE" and focuses on audience and cross-media measurement.
A common confusion: election polls once published as "IBOPE" came from a different arm, IBOPE Inteligência. Its brand license ended in 2021, its executives founded Ipec, and Ipsos later bought Ipec. Today's "former IBOPE" polls are Ipec. Signa belongs to the audience company, IBOPE Audiências Ltda.
How This Kind of Market Research Works
Signa is passive behavioral measurement: software records usage patterns in the background, instead of asking you questions the way a survey does.
"Market research" is an umbrella term, and the methods under it ask very different things of participants. Knowing which one you are joining makes the rules and the incentives easier to understand.
| Method | How it works | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Questionnaire survey | You answer questions about opinions, habits or products | Spend minutes per survey, occasionally |
| Audience panel | A representative sample is used to estimate audiences, like the classic TV ratings meter | Stay in the panel over time |
| Behavioral measurement | Software records how devices, apps and sites are used | Install an app and keep it active |
| Passive measurement | Data is collected automatically, without questions | Very little day to day, but permissions stay on |
| Product testing at home | You receive and review a product | Test and give feedback |
Signa sits in the behavioral and passive rows: an audience panel built on device measurement. Daily effort is low, but the commitment is continuous. That is the opposite of survey apps that pay per questionnaire, or the short paid questions compared in Google Opinion Rewards vs survey apps. For other formats without questionnaires, see apps that pay without surveys.
Why Companies Pay Panel Participants
Companies pay panel participants because building and keeping a verified, representative panel of real people is expensive, and the data is only useful if people keep the meter running.
Audience measurement extrapolates from a sample. For the numbers to mean anything, the sample must reflect the population across age, region, income and device habits, and each participant must be a real, verified person on their own device. Recruiting that sample is why measurement companies work with partners such as PocketMore.
Keeping the sample is just as hard. A behavioral panel loses value every day a participant switches the app off or drifts away, which is why Signa's incentives are tied to "valid days" of active measurement rather than to tasks.
The research can produce aggregated statistics: how many people use a type of service, how often, and how audiences move between platforms. The model is paying consenting participants to produce audience estimates, under a privacy notice that sets out what is collected, shared and kept.

What Signa Measures
Signa measures behavioral and technical usage patterns, such as which apps and sites are used, how often and for how long, using software that runs in the background.
Based on the Signa privacy notice (updated September 2026), the categories include:
- App and service usage patterns: frequency, duration and how you move between apps, websites, social networks and online shops.
- Browser measurement data: where browser measurement is active, this may include URLs or domains visited, navigation patterns, technical browser data and online identifiers such as cookies, session IDs and extension IDs.
- Technical identifiers: identifiers linked to the device or browser, push notification tokens and integrity signals.
- Registration and demographic data provided when you sign up.
To collect this, the terms list specific permissions by platform:
- Android (9 or later): Accessibility Service and VPN.
- iPhone (iOS 16.7 or later): a Safari extension and VPN.
- Computer: browser extensions for Chrome, Edge or Firefox, with no special permission.
These are powerful permissions, and the terms are open about side effects: the measurement VPN cannot run at the same time as another VPN, and some antivirus software may block the Accessibility Service. The software starts a background service, sends data at regular intervals and may update itself automatically. Notifications may be used for reminders and invitations to additional studies.
Research Participation, Explained Before You Start
Browse research opportunities where the operator, the rules and the incentives are shown up front.
View the PocketMore opportunityDoes Signa Access Your Personal Information?
Signa states that it does not capture what is shown on your screen or what you type, but it does record usage patterns, device identifiers and, for browser measurement, URLs or domains visited.
Both halves of that sentence matter. The privacy notice says explicitly that the panel does not collect, access or capture on-screen content or typed content, giving messages, passwords, forms, typed text and specific content viewed inside apps or pages as examples. Measurement is limited to behavioral and technical usage patterns.
"No content" is not the same as "no browsing data", though. Where browser measurement is active, the notice allows for recording the URLs or domains you visit, along with identifiers. Other points worth knowing:
- CPF validation: your CPF is requested to confirm identity, prevent fraud and check that you are over 18. The check is done by a specialized provider, currently SERPRO, and the notice says it is not used for credit analysis.
- Meta: the panel may involve research activities linked to Meta Platforms, Inc. Where this applies, specific consent to process and share data with Meta is a condition of participation, and Meta may act as an independent controller of data it receives.
- Sharing with clients: limited to what is necessary, with additional anonymization or pseudonymization of browsing data where appropriate.
- Retention: registration and measurement data are kept during participation and for up to 12 months after, then deleted or anonymized where applicable. Legal obligations or claims can require longer retention; anonymized or aggregated research data may remain longer.
- Your rights: Brazil's data protection law (LGPD) gives you rights including revoking consent, and the notice names a data protection officer.
PocketMore's privacy notice matches this split: it controls the data used to register you, check eligibility and pay its own incentives, receives confirmation that the app was installed, and states that it is not the controller of data collected by the app itself.
No measurement app is risk-free, and this guide does not claim otherwise. The documents are specific enough for an informed decision, and deciding that Accessibility and VPN access on your main phone is not for you is a perfectly reasonable answer.

How Much PocketMore and IBOPE Pay
As of September 2026, Signa's terms offer an initial R$25 after 7 consecutive valid days, then up to R$25 per 30-day cycle, administered by IBOPE and payable by Pix or an IBOPE-designated digital wallet after validation; any PocketMore-side reward depends on the specific campaign.
It helps to keep two sources of incentives separate:
- PocketMore side. No PocketMore reward specific to the Signa flow is documented publicly. PocketMore says payment comes from the partner running each opportunity, and that methods and timing vary by partner. If a campaign includes a PocketMore-side reward, it should be shown to you before you take part.
- Signa side. These are IBOPE's incentives, set out in the Signa terms.
| Signa incentive | Amount / source | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Initial incentive (app) | R$25 | 7 consecutive valid days after download, registration and activation |
| Recurring incentive (app) | Up to R$25 per 30-day cycle | Full amount with at least 24 valid days; otherwise may be pro rata |
| Initial bonus (computer extensions) | +R$10 | 7 consecutive valid days with browser extensions active |
| Recurring bonus (computer extensions) | +R$10 per month under general Signa terms | Continued use; this VISU Android offer does not establish computer availability |
| Monthly raffles | Up to R$5,000 in promotional material supplied to VISU; each draw follows its app rules | Only when announced; 5 winners; past the first 7 days and at least 24 valid days that month |
A "valid day" is a day on which the measurement software stays active with its permissions on. The terms do not fix a prize amount. Promotional material supplied to VISU advertises draws of up to R$5,000; the terms do not fix a prize amount, and each edition depends on the rules published in Signa. Prizes are paid within 30 days of the draw.
Where points are used, 100 points equal R$1.00 unless you are told otherwise, and they can be converted for up to three months. Payment goes via Pix to a key in your own name registered in the Signa app, or to a digital wallet indicated by IBOPE. Taxes are the participant's responsibility, and IBOPE may withhold incentives for invalid participation or fraud.
These incentives are a reward for taking part in research, not a salary or guaranteed income. Amounts, eligibility and rules can change. Check the current terms before you join (figures above as of September 2026).
How Participation Works, Step by Step
You register with PocketMore, receive a download link and passcode if you qualify, activate Signa, and keep it running to earn IBOPE's incentives.
- Register with PocketMore. It is free, for adults only, and you answer profile questions.
- Get matched. If you fit, PocketMore shows the opportunity, names the app operator and explains in general terms what the app collects.
- Receive a download link and a one-time passcode.
- Install Signa and activate it. Enter the passcode, then read and accept IBOPE's terms, privacy notice and any specific consents, including Meta where applicable. Your CPF is validated.
- Grant the required permissions. On Android, that means the Accessibility Service and the VPN.
- Keep measurement active. Seven consecutive valid days unlock the initial incentive; after that, monthly cycles with at least 24 valid days earn the full recurring amount.
- Payment details. If IBOPE uses Pix, register a key in your own name in Signa; IBOPE may designate a digital wallet instead. Payment remains subject to validation.
- Leave whenever you want. Uninstall the app or extensions and complete the withdrawal steps in the app or through support to close the account and request your final redemption.
Ongoing requirements: keep the app installed, updated and with permissions on; use a device that is mainly yours; one account per person; and cover your own data costs. Emulators and automation are forbidden. After leaving, you can register again only after 30 days. IBOPE may end the program with 30 days' notice; its terms address payment of incentives meeting the applicable eligibility and validation criteria.
Is PocketMore Legit?
PocketMore is operated by a registered UK company and publishes formal terms and a privacy notice, and Signa is run by a registered Brazilian company with its own published rules.
The evidence is concrete: an identifiable company behind each brand, with registration details and data protection contacts; terms that say who is responsible for what; written incentive rules; and privacy notices naming data categories, retention and LGPD rights. IBOPE is also one of the oldest names in Brazilian audience measurement.
Legitimacy is not the same as suitability. A real panel still asks for real permissions, and that trade-off is yours to judge. Our guide on whether money apps are legit covers the general warning signs, starting with the simplest: nobody legitimate asks you to pay to join.
What to Check Before Installing a Measurement App
Before installing any measurement app, confirm who operates it, what it collects, which permissions it needs, and how you can leave.
- Operator: is a named, registered company responsible for the app and its data?
- Data collected: does the privacy notice list categories, including whether URLs or domains are recorded?
- Permissions: are you comfortable granting Accessibility and VPN access on the phone you use every day?
- Conflicts: do you already use a VPN or antivirus that might clash with the app?
- Third parties and retention: are partners such as Meta named, and how long is data kept after you leave?
- Incentive rules: are amounts, conditions and payment method written down?
- Exit: is there a clear way to leave and redeem what you have earned?
Signa's published documents answer each of these. Whether the answers suit you is a personal decision.
PocketMore on VISU
VISU brings together offers and digital experiences, and it may make research campaigns such as PocketMore's available to eligible users.
As of September 2026, the PocketMore campaign on VISU is available to users in Brazil on Android. The rules of the research program are PocketMore's and IBOPE's, as described in this article. On the offer card, VISU may also show its own VISU bonus, with the conditions displayed there. VISU credits are an in-app reward, not cash; our guide on how VISU rewards work explains how they are earned and used, and our privacy policy explains what VISU itself does with your data. You can also read more about whether VISU is legit, or browse the other opportunities on VISU.
