YouTube Subscribe Link Generator
Paste your channel link or @handle and get a link that opens your channel with a subscribe confirmation on the YouTube website, ready to copy or to print as a QR code. The same page makes the link that starts a video at a chosen moment and the code to embed it.
- Free
- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
The link ends in ?sub_confirmation=1, a parameter that YouTube does not document. Today the YouTube website answers it with a box asking to confirm the subscription, and the visitor still clicks Subscribe. On a phone, in the browser or in the YouTube app, the channel may open without the box, and YouTube can change this at any time.
The link you paste stays in this browser. Nothing is sent to VISU or to YouTube.
Your subscribe link
Paste your channel link to see the subscribe link and its QR code.
This QR code is static: the link is written into it. If your handle changes or the link stops working, the printed code cannot be updated.
A dynamic VISU QR points to a short visu.to link. If YouTube changes how subscribe links work, or you want the same printed code to open your newest video, you edit the destination in your account. VISU shows how many times it was scanned.

Your channel next to all your links

Questions
How do I make a YouTube subscribe link?
Take the address of your channel, for example https://www.youtube.com/@yourchannel, and add ?sub_confirmation=1 to the end. This tool reads a channel link, an @handle or a /channel/ address, cleans it and adds the parameter for you.
What does ?sub_confirmation=1 do?
On the YouTube website it opens the channel with a box that asks the visitor to confirm the subscription. They still have to click Subscribe, so nobody is subscribed without choosing to, and people who are not signed in to YouTube have to sign in first.
Is the subscribe link an official YouTube feature?
No. YouTube and Google do not document this parameter, so it rests on how the website behaves today and it can change or stop without notice. On a phone, in the browser or in the YouTube app, the channel may open without the box. When the box does not show, the link still opens your channel, where the Subscribe button is.
Can I make a subscribe link from a video link?
No. The parameter works on the address of a channel, and a video link does not carry that address. Open your channel page, copy its address or @handle and paste it here.
How do I link to a specific time in a YouTube video?
Add the time in seconds to the link: https://youtu.be/VIDEO?t=90 starts at 1:30. It is the same link YouTube gives when you tick "Start at" in its Share panel. Shorts and playlists open from the beginning.
What is privacy-enhanced mode in the embed code?
It is YouTube's own option for embedded players: the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com and, according to YouTube Help, a view in it is not used to personalise the viewer's browsing on YouTube. It does not replace the cookie notice or the privacy policy of your site.
Does this tool check that my channel or video exists?
No. The links, the code and the QR are made in your browser and nothing is sent to YouTube or to VISU, so only the format is checked. Open the link yourself before you print or publish it.
