How do I make a QR code for a YouTube video?

Can the QR code start the video at a specific time?
Yes, for regular videos. Type the start time, or paste a link that already has one (?t=). Shorts, playlists and channels always open from the beginning.
Does the QR code open the YouTube app?
On a phone with the YouTube app installed, YouTube links usually open in the app. Otherwise they open in the browser. Test with your own phone before printing.
Can I change the video later without reprinting?

Does a YouTube QR code expire?
No. It works while the video, playlist or channel is online. If the video is deleted or made private, the code opens a page that says the video is unavailable.
Is a red QR code safe to print?
Yes, as long as it stays dark enough on a light background: the red here is darker than pure red for that reason. For small prints or poor lighting, the dark version is the safest. Always test before printing.
