Your details stay in this browser. The code is made on this page, and nothing you type is sent to VISU or stored.

Your vCard QR code

Type a name or a company to see your QR code.

A vCard QR code is static: your details are written into it. If your number or email changes, make and print a new code.

Want a card you can update?

A VISU Link puts your links, offers and contact on one page. When something changes, you edit the page and every code or link that points to it stays the same.

Create a free VISU Link

Needs a free VISU account. Your details are not sent along: you add them in the VISU Link editor.

vCard QR code or a contact page?

  1. vCard QR code (this page)

    Free, no account

Saves your contact on the phone in one scan, even without internet. Best for details that rarely change. To change anything, you print a new code.

  2. VISU Link

One page with your contact, links, socials and offers, at a short visu.to address. You edit it any time, so a printed code that points to it never goes out of date.

Questions

What is a vCard QR code?

It is a QR code that holds a contact card in the vCard format: name, phone, email, website, address and more. When someone scans it, the phone offers to save you as a new contact, with every field in the right place.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Most recent iPhone and Android cameras recognise contact QR codes and offer to add the contact. On older phones, use a QR reader app. Test with two phones before printing.

Does it need internet to work?

No. Your details are inside the code itself, so the phone reads them offline and saves the contact without opening any website.

Can I change my details after printing?

No. A vCard QR code is static: the details are written into it. If something changes, make a new code. If you expect changes, point a code to a VISU Link page instead and edit the page.

How much can I put in it?

There is no fixed field limit, but every character makes the code denser and harder to scan from far away. Keep to the essentials for small prints like business cards, and check the size with the QR Code Size Calculator.

Are my details stored anywhere?

No. The code, the PNG, the SVG and the .vcf file are made in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to VISU or saved.
