How to use it

  1. Type your name, job title, company and the ways to reach you. Add a line about you and up to six links.
  2. Pick a theme and a colour. Add a photo or logo if you want it on the images and in the contact file.
  3. Copy your card link or download the QR code of it, and send it by WhatsApp, e-mail or put it on your print.
  4. Whoever opens the link sees your card and taps Save contact. You can also download the .vcf yourself and the card images for stories and posts.

Questions

How is this different from a vCard QR code?

A vCard QR code carries the contact inside the code. This card is a link: the person sees your card first, with your photo initials, your line and your links, then saves the contact with one tap. You get both here: the link, its QR code and the .vcf file.

Does the person need an app?

No. The link opens in the phone browser, and Save contact gives the phone a standard contact file (.vcf) that iPhone and Android add to the contacts.

What does the link contain, and can I edit it later?

The link carries what you typed, except the photo. Nothing is stored on a server: the card lives in the link itself. So it does not expire, and it cannot be edited: if you change something, send the new link. For a page you edit whenever you want, use VISU Link.

Who can see my card?

Anyone who has the link. Share it with the people you want to reach, the same way you would hand out a paper card.

Can I put my photo or logo on it?

Yes, on the card images and in the contact file. The photo does not go in the link, which would be too long: whoever opens the link sees your initials in its place.

Can I remove "Made with VISU"?

Yes. Untick it and the line leaves the card images. It is free and needs no account.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The card, the images, the QR code and the contact file are all made in your browser. VISU does not receive what you type.
