The name, split and shortened, with and without your keywords.
What you type stays in this browser. This page makes no request to any network.
Username ideas
These are ideas, not available usernames. This page cannot know what is taken: use the links to look on each network.
Type a name or a keyword to see ideas.
Each link opens the public profile address. If a profile shows up, the username is taken. If nothing shows up it may be free, but it can also be reserved, blocked or held by a deactivated account: only the network can tell, when you try to register it.
Username rules by network
Read on the help page of each network on October 11, 2026. A rule with no official page is not applied.
| Network | Length | Characters | Also | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Not published | a-z 0-9 . _ | The Help Center names periods, numbers and underscores and gives no length, so length is not checked here. | Help page | |
| TikTok | 2 to 24 | a-z 0-9 . _ | No period at the end. | Help page |
| X | 5 to 15 | a-z 0-9 _ | Cannot contain "admin". | Help page |
| YouTube | 3 to 30 | a-z 0-9 . _ - | No separator at the start or at the end. Cannot look like a web address or a phone number. | Help page |
| 5 or more | a-z 0-9 . | No domain endings such as .com or .net. Periods and capitals do not make a username different. | Help page | |
| 3 to 30 | a-z 0-9 _ | Cannot be made of numbers only. | Help page | |
| 3 to 100 | a-z 0-9 | For the custom profile address. Cannot contain the word LinkedIn. | Help page | |
| Telegram | Not published | a-z 0-9 _ | The FAQ gives the characters and no length, so length is not checked here. | Help page |
Left out because no help page gives the complete rule: Twitch (only the length is published), Snapchat, Threads, Kwai and Discord.

One name everywhere, one link for all of it
Once you pick a username, use it across your profiles. A VISU Link is a page at visu.to/yourname with your links, offers and contact, for the link your profile shows.
Create a free VISU LinkHow to use it
- Type your name or your brand.
- Add keywords for what you do, separated by commas.
- Choose a style and what goes between the words: nothing, a period or an underscore.
- Read the list. Each idea shows the networks whose rules it passes.
- Open the link of a network to see if a profile already uses that username, then register it in the app.
Examples
A person and a trade
Ana Souza with "party cakes" gives anasouza, ana.souza, anasouza.partycakes and partycakes.by.ana, each one with the networks it fits.
One handle for every profile
Choose "Must fit: X" to keep only ideas of 5 to 15 characters with letters, numbers and underscores, one of the strictest published rules.
A business name
The Business style adds words such as studio, shop or co after the name, for when the plain name is already in use.
Questions
Does this tell me if a username is available?
No, and no page like this can. It makes no request to any network. It builds ideas and checks them against the rules each network publishes. To see if a username is in use, open the link next to it: it goes to the public profile address on that network.
The profile link shows nothing. Is the username free?
Maybe. A username can be missing from the public profile address and still be unavailable, for example when it is reserved, blocked or held by a deactivated account. You only know for sure when you try to register it in the app.
What are the username rules of each network?
The table on this page lists what each help page says: length, allowed characters and extra rules, with a link to the source. TikTok takes 2 to 24 characters, X takes 5 to 15, YouTube and Pinterest take 3 to 30. Instagram and Telegram do not publish a length.
Why are accents removed from my name?
The published rules allow letters, numbers and a few separators. So "Conceição" becomes "conceicao" and "Muñoz" becomes "munoz", which is how these names are written in handles.
Are the ideas random?
No. They come from fixed patterns: the name, the name with each keyword, initials, a short form and the words of the style you chose. The same input always gives the same list, and nothing is generated by AI.
Should I use the same username everywhere?
It makes you easier to find and to tag. Since each network has its own rules, pick the idea that fits the strictest one you use, then register it on the others too.
