Unicode has no bold or script version of á, ç or ñ, so these letters stay as you typed them. The word is always readable.

- These are not fonts. Each styled letter is a different Unicode character, most of them made for mathematics.
- A screen reader may read every one by its symbol name ("mathematical bold capital A") or skip it, so a styled sentence can be unreadable for a blind person.
- A search for the plain word may not find the styled one, because for a computer they are different characters. Keep your name and your keywords in normal letters at least once.
- A phone that lacks a character shows an empty box in its place. A word or two in style is safe to check, a whole bio is not.

Questions
Are these real fonts?
No. An app like Instagram does not let you choose a font. The tool swaps each letter for a look-alike Unicode character, for example the bold letters made for mathematics. That is why you can copy and paste them anywhere text is accepted.
Why do accented letters stay normal?
Unicode has styled versions only of A to Z, a to z and, in some styles, 0 to 9. There is no bold á or script ñ. By default the tool leaves those letters as typed. You can ask it to style the base letter and keep the accent on top as a separate mark, which most phones draw correctly.
Can screen readers read fancy text?
Often not well. A screen reader may announce each character by its symbol name or skip it. If someone who uses a screen reader should understand your bio, write it in normal letters and style one word at most.
Will people find me in search if my name is styled?
They may not. A search for the plain word does not always match styled characters, because they are different characters. Keep your name and your main keywords in normal letters at least once.
Why do I see empty boxes instead of letters?
The phone or computer has no drawing for that character. It happens more with the squared, circled and gothic styles on older devices. Pick another style, or check on a second device before you publish.
Can I turn styled text back into normal text?
Yes. Paste it in the field at the bottom of the tool and you get the normal letters back, with accents put back together.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The styles are made in your browser from fixed tables. Nothing you type is sent to VISU or to any network, and nothing is stored.
