A paper card, on purpose

This page makes a card you print, cut and stamp by hand. It keeps no count and knows no customer: the card in the wallet is the record. VISU does not run points or stamp cards, so there is no digital version to sign up for here.

Give the card a second job

A code on the card takes the regular customer to your business page: address, hours, phone and your Google review link in one place. VISU Local gives your business a free page in a local directory; with a dynamic VISU QR you can change where the printed code goes later and see how many times it was scanned. Ask for a review if you like, but never trade a stamp for one: reviews have to be free and honest.

How to use it

  1. Type the business name and the reward in one clear sentence, like "Buy 9 coffees, the 10th is on us".
  2. Choose the number of stamps, from 5 to 12, and the stamp shape.
  3. Add the rules and the validity, so nobody has to argue at the counter.
  4. Optional: paste a link for a QR code and turn on the back side for the customer's name and your contact.
  5. Print on card stock at 100% scale with no margins, cut on the marks, and stamp or sign each visit.

Examples

  • Coffee shop

Ten circles, "Buy 9 coffees, the 10th is on us", one stamp per coffee, ten cards per A4 sheet on 250 g card stock.

  • Barber

Six stamps, "The 6th cut is half price", with the back side carrying the customer's name and the booking link as a code.

  • Car wash

Eight star stamps and a validity date, so cards from last year do not come back.

Questions

What size is the card?

Business card size: 85 x 55 mm on A4 paper and 3.5 x 2 inches on Letter. It fits a wallet and a standard card holder. Ten fit on a sheet, or eight if you prefer wider margins at the top and bottom.

Which paper should I use?

Card stock of 200 to 300 g/m², uncoated or matte. Ink from a rubber stamp and pen marks dry on uncoated paper and smear on glossy paper. Check the heaviest paper your printer takes before buying.

How many stamps should a card have?

Few enough to feel reachable. A card for something bought every day, like coffee, fills fast and can ask for more stamps; a card for a monthly service needs fewer, or nobody finishes it. The reward should cost you less than the extra visits bring in: the loyalty program calculator on VISU does that sum with your own numbers.

How do I stop people from stamping their own card?

Use a stamp with your own design or a hole punch with an unusual shape, sign or initial each stamp, and write the validity on the card. For a high value reward, keep a notebook with the cards you have redeemed.

How do I print front and back?

Turn on "Print a back side". The file has two pages: print page 1, put the same sheet back in the tray turned over and print page 2. The cards sit centred on the sheet, so both sides line up. Test with one plain sheet first.

Is this a digital loyalty card?

No. It is a paper card: nothing is counted online and no customer data is collected. VISU does not offer a digital stamp card.

Can I give a stamp for a Google review?

No. Review platforms do not allow rewards in exchange for reviews, and customers can tell. Put the review link on the card as an invitation, and keep the stamps for purchases.
