Menu QR Code Generator

Paste the link to your menu, type your table numbers and print every table in one go: tents, cards or stickers, each with "Scan for the menu" and its own number. Sizes are exact, so the code prints as big as the preview says.

  • Free
  • No sign-up
  • Runs in your browser

Adds ?table=7 to the link of table 7 (or replaces {n} if you write it in the link). Only useful when your ordering system reads the table from the link. A PDF ignores it.

Wi-Fi line (optional)
Format

Two faces, a base and a glue tab, so the code reads from both sides of the table. Two tents per sheet.

Paper

Everything is made in this browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to VISU.

Preview

Paste the link to your menu to see the pieces.

In the print window choose scale 100% (not "fit to page") and margins "none", so every size comes out exact.

The menu has to live somewhere

A QR code only stores a link. The menu itself, PDF or page, stays where you put it: if you delete the file or move it, every printed table stops working. Before printing, open the link in a private window on a phone that is not yours and check that it opens without asking for a login.

Change the menu without reprinting the tables

New prices, a new season, a different PDF: with a plain code that means a new link and new prints for every table. With a dynamic VISU QR, the tables carry a short VISU link and you choose where it goes: replace the menu whenever you need and the printed pieces keep working. VISU also shows how many times the code was scanned. A VISU Link or VISU Local page can hold the menu link, your hours and your contact in one place.

  1. Create the dynamic QR on VISU. The menu link you pasted goes along.
  2. Copy the short link VISU gives you (visu.to/q/...) and paste it here instead.
  3. Print the tables once. Point the short link to the new menu whenever it changes.

Paste the menu link above first, then create its dynamic QR.

How to use it

  1. Paste the link to your menu: a PDF, a page or a drive link that opens without a login.
  2. Type the tables as ranges and lists, like 1-12, 15, Bar. Leave it empty for pieces with no number.
  3. Choose table tent, card or sticker. Add a second language line and the Wi-Fi if you want them on the piece.
  4. Check the line under the preview: how many sheets, how wide the code prints and from how far it scans.
  5. Print at 100% scale with no margins, cut on the marks, and scan two or three printed tables before service.

Examples

  • Bistro with 14 tables

Tables 1-14 as table tents: seven sheets, two tents each, every tent with "Scan for the menu" and its number on both faces.

  • Bar with a counter

Stickers for 1-10 plus "Bar" and "Patio", twelve to a sheet, stuck on the corner of each table.

  • Tourist street

A6 cards with "Scan for the menu" and "Escanea para ver el menú" under the code, in acrylic holders.

Questions

Where is my menu stored?

Wherever you put it. This tool does not upload or host anything: the code only stores the link you paste. Keep the PDF in a drive folder shared as "anyone with the link can view", on your site, or on a page that holds the link, and never delete or move it while the tables are in use.

How do I update the menu without reprinting?

Two ways. Replace the file behind the same link, when your drive or site lets you keep the address. Or print a dynamic VISU QR: the tables carry a short link and you change its destination on VISU when the menu changes.

Do all the tables get the same code?

Yes, unless you turn on "a different link for each table". The number printed on each piece is for your staff and your guests; the code is the same menu link. A per-table link only helps when your ordering system reads the table from the link.

How big should the code be on a table?

A table tent is read from 30 to 50 cm, so a code of 3 cm or more is comfortable; this tool gives it all the room the piece has. The line under the preview says the printed width and the distance. Never print a code under 2 cm.

Which paper works for table tents and stickers?

Card stock of 180 to 250 g/m² for tents and cards, so they stand and survive a shift. Full-sheet sticker paper for stickers, ideally a water-resistant one. Matte is safer than glossy: glare from a lamp can stop a camera from reading the code.

Should I still keep printed menus?

Keep a few. Some guests have no data, a dead battery or simply prefer paper, and in some places a printed menu must be available on request. The code is a faster first option, not the only one.

How is this different from the QR Code Sign Maker?

The sign maker makes one sign with any text, in more formats (poster, counter sign, sticker sheet). This page is for a dining room: a batch of numbered tables with menu wording, a second language line and the Wi-Fi. Use both if you also want a sign at the door.
