The margins leave no room for lines. Make them smaller.

A small line at the foot of the page, when the bottom margin leaves room for it. Untick to remove it: free, no account.

Print at 100% or "actual size" (not "fit to page") so the sizes come out exact. The PDF is vector: lines stay sharp at any zoom.

Questions

What is the difference between wide ruled and college ruled?

Only the space between lines. Wide ruled lines are 11/32 inch (8.7 mm) apart, with more room per line for younger students and large handwriting. College ruled lines are 9/32 inch (7.1 mm) apart, so more lines fit on a page. Narrow ruled is 1/4 inch (6.4 mm).

What is handwriting paper with a dashed line?

Rows of three lines: a top line, a dashed midline and a baseline. Small letters such as a and o reach the dashed line, tall letters and capitals reach the top line, and letters such as g and p hang below the baseline into the space before the next row.

Which row height is right for my child?

Larger rows suit beginners: start around 1 inch or 20 mm and move to 5/8 or 1/2 inch, or 15 to 12 mm, as the letters get smaller and steadier. Your child's teacher may ask for a specific size, and every size here is listed in inches and millimetres.

Where does the margin line go?

At 1.25 inch (31.75 mm) from the left edge, like a US notebook page. Untick it for letter paper or for writing across the full width.

Will the lines print at the exact spacing?

Yes, when you print at 100% or "actual size". "Fit to page" shrinks the page a little and the lines get closer. The PDF is made at the real paper size.

Can I print several pages?

Set the number of copies in your printer window. Every copy is the same page. The PDF holds one page that you can print as many times as you need.
