Christmas Place Card Maker
Paste the names of your guests, pick a Christmas motif and print a tent card for every seat in one go. The name reads from both sides of the table once the card is folded, and long names shrink to fit on their own.

Someone shared this result with you. It was made with Christmas Place Cards, free on VISU, no sign-up.
Paste from a message, a note or a spreadsheet. Add a comma and a second column (a table number or a note) to print it under that name.
The back is printed upside down, so after folding the name reads from both sides of the table. Untick for a back with the motif only.
The list stays in this browser. Names are not sent to VISU or stored.

Paste your guest list, or fill the form with the example, to see the cards.
In the print window choose scale 100% (not "fit to page") and margins "none". Thick paper or card stock folds cleaner and stands better.

Paste the same names into the Secret Santa generator: it draws who gives to whom and gives each person a private link, so nobody sees the whole draw.

How to use it
- Paste the guest list: one name per line. Add a comma and a table number or a note if you want it under a name.
- Type a line for every card, such as the date or "Christmas Dinner", or leave it empty.
- Pick a motif, the colours, the letters and the folded size. Go through the cards with Previous and Next.
- Print at 100% scale, cut along the crop marks and fold each strip along the dashed line, printed side out.
- Stand the cards on the plates or above them: the name faces both sides of the table.

Questions
How do place cards fold?
Each card is one strip, two faces tall, with a dashed line in the middle. Fold along it with the printed side out and the card stands on its own like a small tent. The back face is printed upside down on purpose, so after folding the name reads the right way from both sides of the table.
Which sizes can I print?
Three folded sizes: 80 × 44 mm (six per sheet), 90 × 55 mm (four per sheet) and 95 × 65 mm (four per sheet). Each one fits an A4 or a US Letter sheet with crop marks, and the page tells you how many sheets your list needs.
Can I add the table number?
Yes. Write it after the name with a comma, for example "Sophie, Table 2", or paste two columns from a spreadsheet. The second column prints under that name instead of the line for all cards.
Which paper works best?
Card stock or thick paper of 180 to 250 g/m² stands best. Print at 100% scale with no margins, cut along the marks with a ruler and a blade or a paper trimmer, then score the dashed line with a dull knife before folding for a crisp edge.
Is it really free, and are the names stored?
It is free and needs no account. The list is read in your browser and the cards are drawn in your browser: nothing you paste is sent to VISU or stored. The small "Made with VISU" line can be turned off with one tick.
Can I use it for other dinners?
Yes. The minimal theme has no Christmas motif, so the same cards work for a New Year dinner, a birthday or a wedding table. Change the line under the names and the colours to match.
