Is Scrambly legit? Scrambly's terms identify an Italian operator, and its site and help center list cash-out methods such as PayPal. These pages document a service and its rules, not a successful payout to any reader. This review, checked September 22, 2026 against Scrambly's own website, terms, help center and app store listings, explains who runs it, where it works, how rewards and cash-outs work and which rules can cost you a balance. We did not create an account or request a payout, and we do not rate or score the app.

The Short Answer: What Scrambly's Own Pages Show
"Legit" can mean two different things. The first is whether the company is real, identifiable and bound by written rules. The second is whether it will pay you, for the work you do, on the terms you assumed. Scrambly's official pages answer the first question fairly clearly. The second depends on conditions that you have to check yourself.
The table below summarizes only what we could read on Scrambly's website, terms, help center and store listings on September 22, 2026. It is not a rating.
| Question | What Scrambly's official pages say |
|---|---|
| Who operates it | SCRAMBLY SRL, Via della Zecca 1, Bologna, Italy (terms and App Store seller field) |
| Where it works | Only the US, Germany, France and the UK, with other countries expected in 2026 |
| What earns rewards | Reaching milestones in advertised games and apps, plus playtime and walking rewards in some apps |
| Cash-out | PayPal, Visa, Amazon and other options; 1,000 coins minimum, 10,000 coins for bank transfer |
| Before the first withdrawal | One-time identity check with a photo of your ID and a real-time selfie |
| Minimum age | 16 in the terms; the iOS walking app is rated 18+ on the App Store |
Two lines in the terms matter more than any marketing promise. Scrambly says it acts as an intermediary between users and the advertisers who pay for their products to be tested, and that a user may not receive a reward if the advertiser refuses to pay it. In other words, Scrambly is legitimate as a business, but each individual reward depends on a tracking system and an advertiser that sit outside your control.
Who Runs Scrambly and Where It Works
Scrambly's terms and conditions, last updated March 20, 2026 when we checked, name the company as SCRAMBLY SRL at Via della Zecca 1, Bologna, Italy. The App Store listing for its iPhone app shows the same seller name, and the Google Play listing links back to scrambly.io. A named legal entity with an address is a basic signal that a rewards platform can be held to its own terms.
Country Availability
The Scrambly website shows a clear notice to visitors outside its markets: Scrambly is only available in the US, Germany, France and the UK, and the company expects to roll the site out in other countries in 2026. There is a second, narrower limit in the help center. Its verification article says identity verification is currently available only for users with government-issued ID documents from the United States, the United Kingdom or France, and asks anyone who lives in one of those countries without a local ID to contact support.
That gap is worth noting. If you live in Germany, the site may let you in, but the verification article does not list German documents. Check with support before you invest time in offers, because verification is required before your first withdrawal.
Age Rules
The terms say you must be at least 16 to use the service and that accounts belonging to younger users can be suspended or terminated. The App Store lists its walking app as rated 18+, with infrequent simulated gambling among the reasons. Offer categories include casino-style games and financial offers, so treat Scrambly as an adult product regardless of the lower age in the terms.
How Scrambly Pays: Offers, Milestones and Playtime
Scrambly describes itself as a rewarded discovery platform. You pick a game or app in the Discover section, install it through Scrambly, and earn coins for completing specific in-app or in-game steps. The help center lists game categories such as Word and Puzzle, Casual, Slots and Casino, and Simulation. Its missing-rewards guide also mentions financial offers, where the required step can be an account verification or a deposit confirmation.
How Tracking Works
According to Scrambly, every step is tracked by a third-party app tracking system, which notifies Scrambly when a step is completed, and only then is the reward credited. The company says plainly that it cannot prevent tracking issues. To reduce them, its help center tells users to:
- Install the app using the Start button inside Scrambly, or the offer will not be assigned to you.
- Tap Allow when an iPhone asks whether the app can track your activity, because without it progress is completely missed.
- Start offers only for games and apps you have never used, since offers are for new users only.
- Avoid deleting and reinstalling, using saved progress or skipping levels, which may reverse rewards and can trigger account blockage.
Read the exact wording of each milestone as well. Scrambly's own example is that "Complete Chapter 5" is different from "Reach Chapter 5." Every offer also has a deadline, and advertisers can pause or remove offers at any time.
Playtime Rewards
Some offers carry a playtime label that pays extra coins just for playing. The help center says this feature is available only in the Android app, requires completing a set percentage of milestones first, and has a daily limit shown on the offer page. A later article adds that you can unlock playtime rewards on games already installed by completing one step in any offer.
If you are comparing Scrambly with other game-based options, our guide to apps that pay you to play games covers the wider category and how milestone offers differ from skill games.

Check the Offer Conditions
VISU campaigns are another kind of reward activity, not Scrambly offers. Check the available experience and its participation and redemption rules before counting on a reward.
The Walking Side: How Walk and Earn Works Now
Many people searching for Scrambly arrive from walking app lists, and there is a reason. The iPhone app linked from Scrambly's homepage is listed on the App Store as "Scrambly: Money for Walking" and describes itself as a walking rewards app that turns daily steps into points for cash or gift cards. The Android app on Google Play is listed as "Scrambly: Play to Earn Rewards" and focuses on games. The terms warn that some reward mechanisms, such as walking rewards or daily playtime, may only be available on designated Android or iOS apps.
The 2026 Rule Change
A help center article explains a change that started in April 2026. Scrambly doubled the maximum daily walking reward from 80 to 160 coins per day. At the same time, to keep redeeming walking rewards you now need to complete at least one offer step in any app or game offer every two days. So walking on its own is no longer enough. It is tied to the offer side of the platform.
Scrambly's help lists a 1,000-coin minimum, while its homepage advertises some withdrawals starting at $1. Those are method-specific thresholds, not a published universal coin-to-dollar rate. For Walk and Earn, read the current daily cap and offer-step rule in your account; this review did not verify a cash value for walking coins.
Premium on iOS
The App Store listing also shows a Scrambly Premium subscription at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year, described as giving access to enhanced earning opportunities. The terms say subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and that unused time is not refunded. Paying for an earning app only makes sense if you have measured what the free version returns first.
If steps are your main goal, compare Scrambly's rule against dedicated step apps in our list of apps that pay you to walk, which covers caps, payout types and minimums for each one.
Cashing Out: Minimums, Verification and Timing
Withdrawals happen in the Withdrawal tab. The help center lists PayPal, Visa and Amazon among the options, and the homepage mentions PayPal, Visa and different gift cards.
Minimums
Scrambly says the minimum withdrawal is 1,000 coins, but the minimum can differ by method. Its own example is Bank Transfer, which requires at least 10,000 coins in your balance. For PayPal, you can type any PayPal email address during the withdrawal, since the address is not linked to your Scrambly account.
Identity Verification
Before your first withdrawal, your account must be verified. The process uses photos of both sides of a physical ID card, driver's license, passport or residence permit plus a real-time selfie. Scrambly says there is no alternative to physical documents, but also no time limit, so you can verify whenever your documents are ready. The documents and selfie must belong to the account owner.
Timing
The homepage promises rewards "in minutes." The help center is more careful: payouts usually appear within a couple of minutes, but delays of up to 24 hours can occur, and some withdrawals show "Your reward needs to be reviewed by sender," which support handles manually, usually within 24 hours. The App Store listing says redemption options are available in as little as three hours. Plan for the slower figure.
Once you submit a withdrawal, you cannot change the payment method yourself. Support may be able to help, but the help center says it cannot guarantee a change once a withdrawal is processed.

The Rules That Can Cost You a Balance
Most frustration with reward apps comes from rules people did not read. These are the ones in Scrambly's terms and help center that most directly affect whether you get paid.
- Account suspension. The terms list multiple accounts or more than one account per household, completing offers on someone else's account, any VPN, proxy or emulator, misrepresenting where you live and manipulating offers.
- Balance freezes. Scrambly can freeze a balance when it detects suspicious activity, and can automatically freeze balances after six months with no rewarded actions. You can ask support to unfreeze it, and each request is reviewed case by case.
- Advertiser refusals. If tracking fails and the investigation does not recover payment from the advertiser, the terms say Scrambly is not obligated to issue the reward, though it may offer partial compensation.
- Offer changes. Offers, rewards and requirements can be changed or paused without prior notice.
- Limited PayPal accounts. Coins sent to a banned or limited PayPal account cannot be refunded unless PayPal returns the funds to Scrambly.
- Currency conversion. Balances are stored in US dollars. For other currencies, Scrambly uses internal rates set a percentage below market rates.
Privacy is part of the trade too. Scrambly's privacy policy says it may collect information about the apps and games installed on your device for targeting and personalization. The App Store privacy label lists identifiers as data that may be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
None of these rules is unusual for an offer platform, and several are anti-fraud measures that protect honest users. They do mean that "legit" and "guaranteed" are different words.
A Checklist Before You Start
- Confirm your country and documents. The site must be available where you live, and your ID should be from a country the verification article lists.
- Pick one offer and read every milestone. Note the exact wording, the deadline and whether it requires a purchase or deposit.
- Install only through the Start button and allow tracking on an iPhone.
- Use one account per household, with no VPN. Both are listed suspension reasons.
- Cash out early. A small first withdrawal tests verification and timing before you build a larger balance.
- Skip Premium until you have data. Measure free earnings for a few weeks first.
Keep a simple log of the time spent and the coins credited. If the hourly result does not make sense for you, stopping is a perfectly reasonable outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Scrambly a real company?
Yes. Its terms name SCRAMBLY SRL, based at Via della Zecca 1 in Bologna, Italy, and the App Store lists the same seller. Being a real company does not guarantee that every reward will be credited, because rewards depend on tracking and advertiser payment.
Which countries is Scrambly available in?
Scrambly's website says it is only available in the US, Germany, France and the UK, with other countries expected in 2026. Its verification article currently accepts government IDs from the United States, the United Kingdom and France.
What is the minimum cash-out on Scrambly?
The help center says the minimum withdrawal is 1,000 coins, and that it can be higher for some methods. Bank Transfer, for example, requires at least 10,000 coins.
Why does Scrambly ask for an ID and a selfie?
Scrambly requires a one-time identity check before the first withdrawal. You photograph both sides of a physical ID and take a real-time selfie. The company says this protects users and helps partners trust its audience.
How much can you earn walking with Scrambly?
Since April 2026, Scrambly caps walking rewards at 160 coins per day, and you must complete at least one offer step every two days to keep redeeming them. Scrambly does not publish a monthly earnings figure for walking.
Does VISU pay cash like Scrambly?
VISU rewards follow the rules of each eligible campaign or experience. Its official pages do not promise Scrambly's cash-out methods or a fixed income; check the available offer's redemption options.
