Static or dynamic: the difference
Static code
A code you download from our free QR generator opens your link directly. It cannot be changed after printing and it has no scan count.
Dynamic code
A code becomes dynamic only when you save it in a VISU account. It opens a short visu.to address that you control, so the destination can change later. Print the code you download from your account, not the one from the generator.

Does the printed code change when I change the destination?
No. The image stays the same. Only the place it opens changes.
Is a code from the free QR generator dynamic?
No. A code you download from the generator is static. It becomes dynamic only when you save it in your VISU account. After that, print the code you download from your account.
What do the scan numbers show?
One total for each code. Not who scanned, where or when.
Can I turn a code off?
Yes. You can turn a code off and turn it back on later.
Can I turn a static code I already printed into a dynamic one?
No. A printed static code cannot be changed. Print one more time with a dynamic code and you will not need to print again when the link changes.
How many dynamic codes can I have?
2 on the free plan. 10, 50 or 250 on the paid plans.
