Reversi: flank and flip your way to the most discs

vs bot Place a disc so that it traps a line of opponent discs between two of yours, and the whole line flips to your color. Whoever owns more discs when the board fills wins. Free, no download, no sign-up.

How to play

  1. Choose a difficulty and press Start. You play the dark discs.
  2. Tap a highlighted square: only moves that flip at least one disc are allowed.
  3. Every enemy line trapped between your new disc and another of yours flips to your color.
  4. If you have no legal move your turn is skipped. When neither side can move, the player with more discs wins.

Questions

Why can I not play some squares?

A move must flip at least one disc. The legal squares are highlighted for you.

Can I take back a move?

Yes. Use Undo to go back, or Restart to begin again.

Is it free?

Yes. It runs in your browser with no download and no account.
