Block Drop: stack and clear the rows

puzzle Falling blocks keep coming and you fit them into the well. Fill a whole row to clear it, and the more rows you clear at once, the bigger the score. Free, no download, no sign-up.

How to play

  1. Move the falling block left or right with the arrow keys or the on-screen buttons.
  2. Rotate it with the up arrow so it fits the gap below.
  3. Press down for a soft drop or Space for an instant hard drop. C keeps a piece on hold.
  4. Fill a complete row to clear it. The game ends when the stack reaches the top.

Questions

Can I play Block Drop on my phone?

Yes. On mobile there are buttons at the bottom of the screen to move, rotate and drop.

What does hold do?

It saves the current block for later and swaps it in when you press hold again.

Why does it get faster?

The level goes up as you clear lines, and each level makes the blocks fall faster.
