Dynamic QR Control

Dynamic QR Codes you control after printing

Static QR codes are permanent. Dynamic QR codes stay flexible. Update destinations, swap campaigns, fix mistakes, and track performance without reprinting..

When to use dynamic QR codes

Best when you need flexibility, tracking, or long-term control.

Printed Materials

Packaging, menus, flyers, business cards. Anything you print in bulk and cannot change later.

Seasonal Campaigns

Black Friday, holidays, product launches. Swap offers without new codes.

Performance Tracking

Know exactly how many scans, when, and where. Optimize based on real data.

Static vs Dynamic

The difference between a one-time code and a long-term asset.

Static QR Codes

  • × Destination is permanent, encoded directly in the code
  • × No scan tracking or analytics
  • × Mistakes require reprinting everything
  • × One code, one purpose, forever

Dynamic QR Codes

  • Change destination anytime from dashboard
  • Full scan analytics with time, location, device
  • Fix mistakes instantly without reprinting
  • One code, unlimited campaigns over time

What you can do

Full control from one dashboard.

Edit Destination

Change where the code points anytime. New URL, new page, new campaign.

Track Scans

See total scans, unique scans, time of day, device type, and location.

Schedule Changes

Set future destinations. Auto-switch for campaigns, events, or seasons.

Geo-Routing

Send scanners to different pages based on their location.

Expiration Control

Set codes to expire after a date or number of scans.

Custom Design

Add logo, change colors, match your brand. Same flexibility.

Recommended flow

From print to performance in three steps.

1

Create dynamic code

Set initial destination. Download high-resolution file for print.

2

Deploy and track

Print on packaging, menus, signage. Watch scans roll in from dashboard.

3

Update anytime

Swap destination, launch new campaign, fix errors. No reprinting needed.

Pro tips

Get the most from dynamic QR codes.

Use one code per placement

Different code for menu vs packaging lets you compare performance by location.

Name codes clearly

Use descriptive names like "Menu-NYC-2024" instead of "QR1" so you can find them later.

Plan for the long term

A QR printed today might be scanned in two years. Dynamic codes stay useful forever.

Set up redirects before campaigns end

When a promo expires, redirect to your main site instead of a dead page.

Dynamic QR FAQ

Common questions before you start.

Does the QR code image change when I update the destination? +

No. The QR image stays exactly the same. The redirect happens on our servers, so your printed codes never become outdated.

Is there a limit to how many times I can change the destination? +

No limit. Change it daily if you want. Dynamic means unlimited flexibility.

What happens if your service goes down? +

VISU runs on redundant infrastructure with 99.9% uptime. In rare cases of downtime, scans queue and redirect once service resumes.

Can I convert a static code to dynamic? +

No. Static codes have the URL encoded directly in the pattern. You would need to reprint with a new dynamic code.
